A 55-year-old woman suffered with abdominal discomfort without obvious inducement for 2 years. A roundlike soft tissue density mass with a diameter of 2.2 cm was showed in the greater curvature by CT (Fig. 1(A)). The mass contained calcification and showed delayed enhancement. Symptoms of the patient still existed after regular conservative treatments for 4 months. The softtissue density mass showed little change through repeated CT (Fig. 1(B)). Gastroscopy revealed submucous eminence with smooth surface in the greater curvature (Fig. 1(C)). The patient underwent endoscopic submucosal excavation and the histological examination showed calcifying fibrous tumor (Fig. 1(D)), with immunohistochemistry results: CD117(−), CD34(−), Desmin(−), DOG-1(−), Ki-67(+, < 1%), S-100(−), SMA(−).
