Abstract In this study, Ni-P-CoNiCrAlY composite coatings were deposited on 310 stainless steel. The surface morphology and cross-sectional observations were carried out using scanning electron microscopy and optical microscopy. The high-temperature corrosion of all coatings was evaluated by cyclic oxidation method. According to the results, the amounts of CoNiCrAlY particles co-deposited in all samples coated at pH = 4.7 were higher than that of those produced at pH = 6.7. Also, the surface roughness of all composite coatings coated at pH = 6.7 is lower than the coatings produced at pH = 4.7. The Ni-P-(3 g/l) CoNiCrAlY deposit produced at pH = 6.7 had the best corrosion resistance among other coatings.
