The feature of SCC is discussed with the model of extended form of Dirichlet energy. It is demonstrated that some fractal properties of SCC are derived from the nonlinearity in the form. Nonlinear modification of stress tensor derived from it and the validity of its linear approximation are discussed. Regarding the aggregate of SCC created by the loading cycle, a method to evaluate the extent of SCC in the affected 3-dimensional portion using that linear approximation is proposed. Also the alleviation of stress concentration at the tips of crack owing to its fractal feature and a practical method to evaluate the Hausdorff dimension over SCC colony are discussed.
