In this manuscript, we consider a discontinuous delay dynamical system on time scales. Time scales make the system a hybrid system which is more realistic and useful. We establish the convergence to maximal and minimal solutions using monotone iterative method. The time scales cover the discrete and continuous case as well as several other cases such as quantum and Cantor set. The result presented extends and complements the existing ones. At the end, two examples are provided to illustrate the analytical findings.
