In this paper, we study the boundedness, compactness and essential norm of differences of composition operators $$C_{\varphi }-C_{\psi }$$Cφ-Cψ on Bloch type spaces. In particular, we use the Bloch type norm of $$\varphi ^n-\psi ^n$$φn-ψn to characterize these.
