So far no complete characterization of compact difference of composition operators between Hardy spaces exists. Motivated by the fact that order-bounded composition operators are also helpful in describing compact composition operators on Hardy spaces, see Hunziker and Jarchow (Math Nachr 152:83–99, 1991), we characterize order bounded difference of weighted composition operators acting between these spaces.
