Colon injury due to blunt abdominal trauma is a rare thing. Such injuries are usually associated with other solid organ injuries. Initial physical examination and imaging are unreliable in detecting such injuries. As most of the solid organ injuries are managed medically, there is real risk of missing such injuries. Here I report such a case in which a 30-year-old gentleman sustained grade 3 left renal injury and was managed medically and had manifestation of colon injury after 12 days of injury.
