The nuclear cardiology community needs to embrace hybrid imaging by combining coronary artery calcium scoring (CACS) with SPECT and PET myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI). I will explain why this is critically important at this time, discuss the issues every nuclear cardiology laboratory needs to consider before implementing CACS, and update you on education and support you can find at ASNC to ensure you are successful.
