The aim of the present study is to image the fluvial reservoir sands using the 3D seismic attributes on 2D seismic reflection of the Sinjhoro gas field in the Lower Indus Basin, Pakistan. Seismic interpretations identify a prospective zone of 30 m at the NW area favorable for the future hydrocarbon exploration. The performance of conventional seismic characteristics is not found as fruitful for the productive sand delineation. Nevertheless, with no bandwidth limitations, the fast and the robust interpretation tool like spectral decomposition excellently recognizes the channels and associated point bar configurations at both reservoir zones. Well log cross plot examination exposes very good fluvial channels’ quality, suggestive of passionate signs for forecasting the stratigraphic reservoir detection within the Sinjhoro gas field.
