Ganoderma is a white rot causing agent growing on different types of plants ranging from angiosperms to gymnosperms. Now to date, six different Ganoderma species reported from North and one species from South of Iran. This work presents new findings on locality of two samples identified as G. resinaceum using morphology and ITS analysis from Khuzestan Province (South of Iran) for the first time. In addition, the results of study showed that there are some hosts, which are new for this species. To our knowledge, this is the first record for host relationship of G. resinaceum on Gleditschia caspica, Populus deltoids, Morus alba and Manilkara zapota for the world.
