This book as the author states “is an effort to nudge us all along the journey by presenting a pragmatic, accessible, and affordable way to engage companies in ecological stewardship action on their lands that meets business need and delivers a conservation result” (O’Gorman 2020 xiii). There are many books that address biological conservation management from an environmental not-for-profit perspective or business partnerships with NFP’s (Perlman and Midler 2004 , Porter & Salverson 1995 , Wondolleck & Yaffee 2000 ) but very few if any that address the in-depth role of private corporations in developing conservation strategies that promote biodiversity. This book accomplishes this role.
