In this paper precisely controlled silver nanoparticles synthesis method using microdroplets as a reactor was shown. It was confirmed that the application of microdroplets effects in a decrease in particles size and size distribution in comparison with a typical batch reactor from 4.8 ± 1.3 nm to 2.5 ± 0.5 nm. This decrease of particles size distribution is directly related to the fact, that thanks to the application of microdroplets as reactors the mass transfer limits were eliminated.
