Critical summary assessment. This SR of 37 randomized or quasi-randomized controlled trials with high or unclear risk of bias reports moderate quality evidence that a fluoride mouthrinse may reduce caries increment in the permanent teeth of children and adolescents. Evidence quality rating. Limited.
