Abstract With the development of wireless communication technology, electromagnetic spectrum become scare resources. The accuracy of spectrum detection needs to be improved. In the scenes of changeable electromagnetic environment, we propose a novel detection method based on distributed dynamic detection system. We focus the discussion on performance optimization by the advanced threshold curve (ATC) for devices dynamic spectrum access. This method decreases the false alarm probability ( P fa ) of detection. The mean difference-energy detection (MD-ED) method and the weight difference-energy detection (WD-ED) method are compared with the conventional energy detection (ED) method in terms of the high detection background noise. The direction-finding accuracy is used as the weight of the predicted value in the WD-ED method. The influence of the relative position on the detection result is corrected by the weight of the method. The WD-ED method decreases the missed detection probability ( P m ) in large-scale spectrum sensing. The experiment result show that the WD-ED method based on the ATC improves the accuracy of spectrum detection in distributed system.
