Abstract This work presents the vector geometrical optics (GO) aperture field of classical omnidirectional dual-reflector antennas with an arbitrary main-beam direction in the elevation plane. These antennas are composed of two axially symmetric reflectors generated by axis-displaced conic sections and are capable of operating in the microwave and millimeter wave bands. By using the aperture method (ApM), a formulation to obtain the electric far field radiated by all classical configurations is also derived. Some case studies are analyzed by the method-of-moments (MoM) technique in order to validate the proposed GO-ApM analysis procedure.
