ORN has a proud history of setting practice standards, conducting research, educating nurses, Aand providing services and products for the perioperative community. The Association offers opportunities for active involvement and seeks input from our members to enable us to grow together. It is an amazing honor to represent the Association this year as your AORN President. It has been my privilege to have received mentoring from my predecessors and to have previously served AORN in many capacities. To serve as President this year of the Association that has inspired and supported my professional career for so long is both humbling and exciting.
