Abstract In this study, we proposed a method to program an EH (i.e. energy hub) that procures the electrical power, thermal power and cooling loads. This proposed method also is a management model for continuous utilities as well as on/off controllable ones. Moreover, this paper comprehensively modeled the features of energy hub elements including: power losses, amortization expenditure of electricity, thermal power and cooling power storage systems and also feasible operating area of mixed thermal and electrical energy units. Suggested model is applied over 2 summer/winter ordinary days in different scenarios for investigation the effect of power storage system, giving power to network, intelligent charge/discharge the electrical cars as well as handling the controllable utilities. Numerical results demonstrate, utilizing of energy hub and management of loads lead to significant profits for user as well as power network. Furthermore, as shown in this study, using of electric vehicles (EV) results in smoothing of load profile in time of employing the demand response program (DRP).
