Abstract In this work, TiO2-SrRuO3 (SRO) heterojunction was deposited on flexible mica by pulsed laser deposition. TiO2 with anatase phase could be deposited directly on flexible substrate benefit from the high temperature tolerance of mica. Take the advantage of the strong visible light absorption of SRO and the hot electrons injection mechanism, the TiO2/SRO heterojunction shows a very large photocurrent density of 4043.8 μA/cm2 at 0.5 V vs Ag/AgCl. The TiO2/SRO photoanode with high photoelectrochemical activity and good flexibility reveals the application potential in flexible optoelectronics.
