Out of 36 districts, 16 districts have a higher prevalence of more than 55% of anaemia in Maharashtra. Out of 35 districts, 2 districts in 2015-16 and 16 districts in 2019-20 have higher prevalence (>55%) of aneamia in Maharashtra. Furthermore, a remarkable temporal change has taken place between the periods. As a result, 30 districts of Maharashtra shown increasing change, in which 16 districts marked as >10% changes of women anaemia in 2019-20.
