In this issue of Chem, Marchesan and co-workers report the self-assembly of a series of homo- and heterochiral tripeptides in water. By investigating their ability to form hydrogels and determining the single-crystal structures, this study offers important insights into correlating molecular structures with the superstructures of the tripeptide assemblies.
