Under the supervision of Professor Peter Zhang, Cindy’s PhD research involves the development of new catalytic radical processes for stereoselective organic synthesis via metalloradical catalysis. Before her graduate study at Boston College, she received her BS degree in chemistry from National Taiwan Normal University and MS degree in organic chemistry from the University of San Francisco under the supervision of Professor Jie Jack Li. Her research interests are in the general area of organic synthesis with a focus on asymmetric catalysis.
