• Retrospective, observational study. Data collected from 100 sequential adult CT head requests from patients presented to A&E with head injury in December 2016. First cohort cycle covered October to November 2015. • Inclusion criteria: adult patients with head injuries only. • Reports and results accessed through PACS system. • We analysed whether CT head requests were appropriate according to NICE guidelines and compared the results.
