Abstract A new species of Araripeneuridae Cratoneura cuneata sp. nov. and an undetermined species Cratoneura sp. are described from the Upper Cretaceous (lowermost Cenomanian) Burmese amber. They can be assigned to this family by the typical venation of forewing, and different from other species of the genus by the wing venation such as forewing ScP + RA veinlets not forked, few crossveins among MP + CuA branches. The relationship of genera Allopteroneura and Cratoneura are discussed.
