W ith the May 2018 issue, Kidney International Reports (KI Reports; www.kireports.org) completes 2 years of publication. As the official open access publication of the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), our accomplishments to date have surpassed even our expectations. The numbers speak for themselves: 2 years, 300 published articles, 250,000 article downloads (and counting). As submissions continue to rapidly increase, we are working diligently toward our goal of being the premier open access journal in the field of nephrology. We have achieved several publishing industry benchmarks in the past year; perhaps the most important for our authors and readers is the fact that KI Reports is now indexed in PubMed Central.
