OBJECTIVE To assess the relationship between knowledge, family attitudes of Tuberculosis patients and prevention efforts for tuberculosis. MATERIALS AND METHOD The type of research carried out is quantitative by using analysis research design and cross sectional. The study was done in Makassar Tamalanrea PublicHealth Center in July 2019 to September 2019 with 30 respondents of TBC patients families. RESEARCH RESULTS There is a relationship between knowledge and attitude of patients' families with the efforts of preventing TBC. CONCLUSION Good knowledge possessed by the patients' families and positive attitudes against TB is very important in efforts of preventing pulmonary tuberculosis by the patients' families.
