Abstract The solubilities of 2-(trimethylsilyloxy)ethyl methacrylate and 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate in supercritical CO2 fluid were measured at many different temperature (i.e., 313.2, 333.2, 353.2, 373.2 and 393.2 K) and up to 22.49 MPa pressures using variable-volume high pressure view cell by static-type. Both systems have shown the type-I phase behavior. Their solubility curve in supercritical CO2 fluid was obtained by varying the pressure at a fixed temperature. The PC-SAFT equation of state (EoS) was used to correlate experimental data and to predict the critical pressure locus. The calculated results show a good agreement with experimental data.
