Abstract As one of the key electronic instruments for the experiment of long pulse plasma discharge, the integrator is required to work stably in complex and changeable electromagnetic environments. For the integrator of real-time drift compensation in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), an alternating method and an integrator correction algorithm (IDC) are adapted to improve the performance of the system in real time, and the new design of integrator system is completed. The new integrator system works stably for up to 1284s in the EAST experiment and the integration drift within 1000s on the testing bench is less than 8 mV when the integration time constant is 20 ms.
