Abstract This contribution describes three phenomenon regarding visceral methods. It highlights the importance of collaborative data creation, and the opportunity of creativity to produce pleasure, laughter, as well as to see and sense power. But it also demonstrates the danger posed by the neoliberal university to the further development and implementation of visceral methods.
