Highlights • CNS metastases involving leptomeninges (LM) are extremely rare in patients with ovarian cancer.• Prognosis for ovarian cancer patients with LM metastases is very poor and treatment is palliative in nature.• Chemotherapy is administered intrathecally via an Ommaya reservoir or intra-CSF via repeated lumbar punctures.• Early recognition of LM metastases can help maintain the patients’ quality of life by minimizing neurological deficits.
