Abstract This research work is intended to explore the significance of C-C (Cattaneo-Christov) heat flux future on carbon nanotubes embedded with micropolar liquid over a melting surface. With the assistance of relevant similarity analysis, in order to explore the impact of physical transport parameters, the proposed model has been converted to a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by means of involved variables. The features of pertinent variables on energy and velocity have been addressed by plots and tables. The consequences are quite promising that, the flow and thermal boundary layers of SWCNT/MWCNT are non-uniform. Furthermore, larger material parameter scale backs the velocity and angular velocity of both directions. Also, the stream line analysis is exhibited.
