Abstract The indicators intelligent communication networks are analyzed on the basis of the architectural concept NGN (Next Generation Networks) when establishing a connection and when rendering multimedia services. The effectiveness intelligent communication networks is investigated, on the basis of which the mathematical model of the service traffic using INAP (Intelligent Network Application Part) protocols is proposed. On the basis of the model analytical expressions are obtained, which allow to estimate the performance indicators of the intelligent communication networks.
