Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), which belongs to the b-coronavirus genus, is a novel coronavirus first detected in Wuhan, China in December, 2019.1 The current Corona virus pandemic has seriously threatened the world. The impact of the disease in infants and children is under appreciated. As compared to adults less number of cases have been reported in paediatric population.2,3 This article summarises the available information about the effect of COVID-19 infection in children with special emphasis on those with heart disease.
