Abstract In author's previous work the new technique for RANS turbulence models designing was proposed. Models built on the basis of this approach were called G-type models. In given work t 2 ¯ − e t model of G-type for heat transfer in forced boundary layers is submitted. This model is simpler than most similar models. At the same time, calculations in a wide range of Pr numbers show good agreement with the experimental and theoretical data of various authors.
