Abstract In this paper, an analytical propagation expression of Finite Olver Beams passing through a misaligned ABCD optical system is derived using the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral and the expansion of the hard aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. Some numerical results are presented in the work for reason to illustrate the effect of misalignement on the distribution characteristics of the Finite Olver Beams passing through the misaligned optical system with a rectangular aperture.
