Abstract This paper focuses on studying the potential of CoFe2O4-doped magnetic nanoparticles SiO2 / ZrO2 matrix to produce high-performance one-dimensional magnetophotonic crystals (MPC) and to solve the problem of integrating magneto-optical devices. Given the importance of the magneto-optical Faraday effecton most non-reciprocal optical components, we studied the influence of different 1D structures on Faraday rotations. The potential of these structures offers a wide range of applications in the field of miniaturized and integrated non-reciprocal devicessuch as isolators.
