Abstract Reduced graphene oxide nanoscroll wrapped TiO2/SnO2photoanode (RGO-NS@TiO2/SnO2) was fabricated via shock cooling combined with photoreduction method. The integrated RGO nanoscrolls play the role of sensitizer, electron transfer mediator and wrapping agent. Compared to pure TiO2film, the RGO-NS@TiO2/SnO2composite exhibited enhanced photocathodic protection performance for 304 stainless steel, a maximum photocurrent density of 330 μA cm-2and negative potential of -0.62 V were achieved under white light irradiation. The dark protection ability was also acquired due to the electron accumulation and release ability of SnO2. The nanoscrolled structure and the synergistic effects between RGO, TiO2and SnO2are induced to be responsible for the good anticorrosion property.
