Abstract In this paper, focusing characteristics of the linearly polarized Lorentz-Gauss vortex Airy beam was studied. With other parameters unchanged, as the number of topological charges increases, the focal spot map will split regularly, gradually splitting from the center into two symmetrical points. The light field in the central area changes regularly and can be used to calculate the number of charges. The effect of beam parameters on light spot fission was studied. The results show that the effect of Lorentz-Gauss parameters on fission is much greater than Airy parameters. By changing the parameters of Lorentz-Gauss, the fission process of light spots can be significantly changed, and new Light intensity distribution.
