Abstract In this paper, bronze samples from Bam Arg World Heritage for laser cleaning with XeCl laser is investigated. The sample is analyzed before and after laser cleaning by XRD, DAX, SEM and PIXE methods to determine their surface impurities then optimum conditions such as the repetition rate and number of laser pulses obtain for laser cleaning.
