The bell of the New Year is about to ring and we are all looking forward towelcoming 2019. On behalf of the Chinese Nursing Association (CNA), I would like to extend my sincere greetings and greatest respect to all nursing professionals across the country as we bid farewell to the old and usher in the new. I am likewise expressing my heartfelt gratitude to all our local and international colleagues, who have contributed to the development of China's nursing sector. Led by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Chinese government, CNA united over 4 million nurses across the country to achieve productive results. The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up and is likewise a crucial year for the implementation of the 13th Five-Year Plan. Accordingly, CNA
