Highlights • Meckel’s diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract, occurring in approximately 1–4% of the population; been the duplication of it exceedingly rare.• This is the first case of a simultaneous strangulated Littrés hernia with duplication of a Meckeĺ’s diverticulum
