Highlights • Wandering spleen with horseshoe kidney is a rare occurrence with less than 3 cases reported worldwide.• Delay in diagnosis would result is increased mortality.• Splenopexy is preferred in children with the exception of grossly infarcted spleen.• Splenectomy is the treatment of choice in torsion of spleen with infarct.
