An isolation method was not used in this experiment. Histopathological specimens (paraffin block) were treated with Grosscot staining to diagnose Actinomycosis morphologically. Clinically, majority of Actinomycosis are caused by Actinomyces israelii. With that premise, we concluded the pathogen to be Actinomyces israelii. Due to the lack of samples, we could not perform any tests on the specimen.
