Highlights • A high index of suspicion is required for primary parotid lymphoepithelial cancer in Caucasians with a pre-auricular mass.• LEC can afflict patients of any ethnicity in Epstein-Barr Virus non-endemic areas.• LEC of the parotid gland is a rare entity that requires complete surgical resection and post-operative radiation therapy.
