Highlights • Assault with iron made belan is the first case in its kind to be reported as per my best knowledge.• Penetration of iron made belan inside the vagina is the rare mode of assault.• Timely intervention, and definitive surgical interventions to control bleeding are the key steps in managing such patient.• The secondary survey is very important to assess the extent of injury with such a rare weapon.
