Highlights • Pancreatic pseudocysts (PP) are known sequelae of acute and chronic pancreatitis.• Pseudocyst extension into the psoas muscles have been rarely described.• Pancreatic pseudocyst can also masquerade as complicated diverticulitis.• This is a rare case of PP successfully managed with percutaneous drainage.
