When asked how their MTB could be improved, programs suggested adding videoconferencing, having a scribe record minutes, and generating consensus treatment recommendations. The MTB improves interdisciplinary collaboration while instilling the importance of multidisciplinary care early in training. Our results are limited by potential differences between survey respondents and nonrespondents. Future research is needed to objectively assess if and how the MTB alters clinical outcomes.
