Abstract We study variations in the rigidity spectrum and anisotropy of cosmic rays (CRs) by using the data from satellite and ground-based observations within the worldwide network of cosmic-ray detectors through the global spectrographic survey. The studied period covers 28 and 29 October and 2 November 2003 (GLE65, GLE66, and GLE67). We determined CR differential rigidity spectra at individual hours of the investigated events. The maximal rigidity of accelerated protons in these GLEs is shown to equal ~ 4–14 GV.
