Abstract Previous studies have recognized the importance of environmentalism with a focus on green practices, and their associated impact on firm performance. Petite focus has been devoted to the usage of learning dimensions towards creating a strong urge in people for long-lasting eco-benefits. This study aims to establish the relationship of the dimensions of learning organization with green supply chain practices and corporate performance, towards bridging the research gap. Structured questionnaires were administered on 220 experts from 21 departments of 10 organizations in the manufacturing sector to measure the constructs of the study. The study deployed Interpretive Structural Model (ISM) approach to comprehend the structural influences amongst the constructs. Associated variables were clustered using MICMAC analysis to gain insight on the organizational impacts of the constructs. Research findings showed a higher driving power of green supply chain practices and environmental and economic performance on the dimensions of learning organization, thus revealing an indispensable link amongst the constructs of environmentalism and learning. Finally, this study emphasizes pertinent links between the learning capability and reflective responsiveness of an organization’s environmental practices and sustainable performance.
