Abstract We study the global Gevrey solvability of the system L j = ∂ t j + a j ( t ) ∂ x + b j ( t ) in T t n × S x 1 , where ∑ j = 1 n a j d t j is real, ∑ j = 1 n b j d t j may be complex and both are closed 1-forms. We also present results about global Gevrey solvability for a class of systems of operators of order 1 on the N-dimensional torus.
