Gynecological pathology like ovarian cysts or serosal myomas are known to undergo torsion. Images of a case with hysteroscopic evidence of torsion of pedicle of a type 0 submucous myoma inside the uterine cavity is presented. We have discussed three possible reasons for this phenomenon to happen inside a confined space of uterine cavity. First presence of a long, soft pliable pedicle arising from fundus, second the ratio of the length (L) of pedicle to its width (W) greater than one and third a larger uterine cavity in parous women allowing the space for torsion.
